Color of Land Installation

COLOR of LAND

is a collaboration between Alyssa Wendorff and Margaret Grill. Painting together since 2003, they look to specific experiences of the midwestern landscape, including its rural, suburban, and urban settings. Their work then intersects as they both obsess over the process of layering very thin washes of paint with drawing. While their work is vividly unique, it continues to compliment, inspire, and even provoke each other to push the boundaries of representing specific environments.
